First time really gettin' to hang out with Aunt Shanny, who just got back from Africa!!Ok, since it's been SO, so long since our last update...I'll have to break it down by holidays/months/etc. to get everyone up to speed. Being a momma has been such a blessing but finding the time to update ALL our blogs/albums/etc. has become a back burner priority to spending quality time with our sweet Raeghan Layne! AND, unfortunately/embarrassingly, Facebook has been the only thing I've really kept up to date as most of our friends/family have access to that...so, in order to get a full update on us, I'm afraid you'll have to join Facebook (like my mom AND grandma "Gubbie" resigned to do in order to keep up with us!!;). Hope everyone's doing well and to catch up with all of you soon!!
***Above are pictures from Raeghan's first Thanksgiving. It was spent @ Gubbie & Poppy's for a traditional Thanksgiving Meal, then straight to Rome, GA with the Flemings and our extended family on Drew's side...and then on to Blue Ridge, GA with my family (the Deere's) @ my parent's cabin. For the first time really away from home and on the road (SO MUCH!!) for nearly a week in a row...Raeghan did great and was SUCH a trooper! Before our Turkey Day traveling, Drew and I also made a "secret" trip to Charleston, SC to think/pray about our potential move there as Drew received a great job offer there. Thankfully after that trip, we knew we were still where we were supposed to be in May-retta...but ever since have realized we need to be prepared, ready & willing for whatever God has in store for us in the future!! It was a great lesson to learn and our first BIG decision as a married couple, so we grew lots during that time!
