Thank ya'll SO much for all of your thoughts, calls, prayers, love and support during our pregnancy...it's ALMOST over!! After our 40 week check-up today, Dr. Espy, our favorite, sweet ole' southern gentleman of a doctor in our practice, told us he'd like to personally deliver Raeghan because she was ready to go (and I think he could tell we were too!). This is pretty unheard of b/c it's such a big practice and he's not even on call tomorrow, so we're really excited! There was just a front page article in the Marietta Daily Journal about Dr. Espy last Saturday and what a great doctor he was, so this will definitely be a nice addition to Raeghan's baby book! Anyway, he said he would induce us TOMORROW!! The plan in to go in tomorrow morning after we get the go-ahead so that should get things rolling!? That said, my prediction that Rae-girl would come on Friday the 7th--IF she didn't come early on Labor Day--will hopefully prove true! (c'mon Rae-girl!!). I was born on a Friday and 7 is my favorite number so that's the only actual thought behind my "mother's intuition" on that one...but I'd LOVE for it to come true...since 9.7.07 has a cute little ring to it as well!! ;) (I'm such a cheeseball!). Anyway, we're hoping to go in sometime mid-morning and are prayerfully gonna be parents by the late evening!!! Overall, it's been a great pregnancy and I've been so lucky and blessed with little to no discomfort, complications, swelling or stress the whole time...but I can't wait to cash it all in tomorrow and come home with our sweet little girl!! Here's my LAST picture as a pregg-o momma...bakin' muffins for our labor & delivery nurses tomorrow (to bribe them into giving us as MUCH of and THE BEST care ever while we're in the hospital!!). haha.
